History of the Chamber

The Holladay Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2003. Since its inception, it has developed a collective voice that fosters a successful relationship with our city officials in creating a strong sense of community. Thanks to the contributions of its Founders and the dedication of the founding board of directors, the Chamber has matured into an effective Holladay institution that advocates for and provides services to its business members.

“How grateful we are to the many individuals who own and manage businesses in the City of Holladay.  We know many of you by name as we drop in to shop, eat, bank or make purchases.  We believe the intimate village-feel is what makes shopping in Holladay memorable.  That same supportive spirit is mirrored in the Holladay Chamber of Commerce.

Under great leadership the chamber has grown and expanded since its creation.  Their mission is to provide quality programs and services to the residents of Holladay.”

                                                               - Dennis R. Webb, Mayor of the City of Holladay

Get Involved

Holladay City is unique, with its distinctive Village atmosphere. It’s a special place to live, to grow, to play and to do business.  Get involved with the Holladay Chamber and learn about the businesses in our great city and in the surrounding areas. As you volunteer your time and talents, you will see your community grow and develop and become an even better place to live. The Holladay Chamber operates on membership fees, and its board and committee members are all volunteers.

“It’s about working together - to build a greater Holladay today”

More About The Chamber

The Chamber is a 501(c)(6) organization. It’s empowered to be a strong advocate for businesses before executive and legislative agencies.  It’s committed to welcoming and introducing new businesses to the business community of Holladay. A significant goal of the Chamber is to urge residents of Holladay and the surrounding area to shop with Chamber members. The Chamber leads efforts to distribute and publish the booklet "Holladay Area Community Guide & Directory."  And the Chamber provides opportunities to network with other businesses and governmental community leaders - opportunities such as our monthly business luncheons.
